Four days, two ferries, and a rule: charge at Powell River, then stop looking for chargers. Everything east of there is a decision you made in advance.
The van fits the ferry queues fine — 4.7 m, 1.9 m wide, no mirror drama — but the height with the tent on does change which decks and which parkades you can use. You’ll be on open ferry decks, so it’s a non-issue at sea and an issue in every downtown garage in Vancouver. Read the height line.
A shape that works. Day one: pick up charged, Horseshoe Bay crossing, Langdale, dinner at Secret Beach with the awning out. Day two: north to Saltery Bay, swim, no agenda. Day three: Powell charge (25 minutes, use it for groceries and coffee), up to Lund, water taxi to Tenedos for the day, sleep at Powell. Day four: come home the slow way, Easy Ridge if the weather is behaving, in time for dinner.
Water. 40 L does two people three nights if you’re sensible about dishes. There are taps at every provincial park on this route; fill up every time you pass one and you’ll never think about it.
